Building Your Communications Credentials The Role of Your Peers and Association

Building a professional communications career is more than working in a bunch of places. Building a solid career involves more than checking off a list of experiences. To truly give your career meaning and shape, you need to build in peer reviews, recognition, and professional certification/accreditation. In this session Ivan Muzychka, ABC, MC, will explore how you can build your career by building your credentials through peer review of your work and through systematic professional development leading to professional certification. The session will explore awards, including Gold Quill and Silver Leaf, and will cover aspects of IABC’s new professional certification program.

The session is an informal discussion and all are invited to attend.

January 21, 2015, 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Leyda’s Cafe
